Step 1: Register on the Passport Seva Website

Step 2: Apply for a Passport 

    1. Login:

    1. Choose Service Type:
        • Select the service you need:
            • New Passport

            • Reissue Passport

            • Diplomatic Passport

            • Official Passport

            • Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

            • Identity Certificate

    1. Fill the Application Form:
        • Fill in the form online or download it to fill offline and then upload it.

Step 3: Submit the Form and Pay Fees

    1. Upload Form:
        • If you filled the form offline, upload the filled form (XML file).

    1. Pay Fees:
        • Pay the applicable fee online via credit/debit card, net banking, or through a challan at the nearest State Bank of India (SBI) branch.

Step 4: Schedule an Appointment

    1. Schedule Appointment:
        • After paying the fees, schedule an appointment at the nearest Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) or Regional Passport Office (RPO).

    1. Select Date and Time:
        • Choose a convenient date and time for your appointment.

    1. Appointment Confirmation:
        • Confirm your appointment. You will receive an appointment number and confirmation via SMS or email. Print the appointment confirmation receipt.

Step 5: Visit PSK/RPO

    1. Visit the PSK/RPO:
        • On the appointment date, visit the PSK or RPO with the required original documents and their photocopies.

    1. Document Verification:
        • Your documents will be verified at the PSK/RPO.

    1. Biometric Data Collection:
        • Your photograph, fingerprints, and signature will be taken.

Step 6: Track Your Application

    1. Track Status:
        • You can track the status of your application on the Passport Seva website using your application reference number (ARN).

Required Documents

    • Age Proof: Aadhar Card, PAN card, Birth Certificate, or Voter ID.

    • Address Proof: Utility bill, Aadhar card, or rental agreement.
